  • Small Business Saturday was created by American Express and began on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving in 2010.

  • The purpose was to create a day between Black Friday and Cyber Monday to promote shopping at small businesses.

  • In 2017, an estimated 108 million
    consumers reported shopping or dining
    at local independently-owned businesses
on Small Business Saturday — generating

Since starting Ma’am Marketing in 2017, I’ve helped dozens of retail small business owners improve their digital marketing and sell more products/services, both in-store and online.

I believe Small Business Saturday can be the Super Bowl of sales promotions for small businesses, but too often gets forgotten about until late November when it becomes a scramble to put anything together, let alone a strategic plan.

That’s where I come in! I will come alongside you and help you create a custom, targeted plan for Small Business Saturday that will both attract one-day sales on November 24, but also build brand awareness for the rest of the retail season.
